Steve was excellent! He found the issue with the unit, fixed the issue, and communicated very well with us each step of the way.
Andrew did a great job. He conducted his examination of our heating and cooling system thoroughly and explained his findings clearly. He is a true professional.
The tech is like family. He takes the time to explain things. They are not trying to "up sale" unnecessary items. He takes the time to make recommendations in a timely fashion.
John is the best! He kept us informed each step of the way. Very professional.
Very knowledgeable, pleasant, went right to work. I had a great experience.
Showed up on Super Bowl Sunday and at least got us running while my unit thawed out
I was thankful they were able to get a plumber out to my house quickly for a sink leak, but that was the only benefit. After booking a 5 hour show up window, i was then called that they were on their way 1.5 hours before my time (which, if i wasn’t at work, may have been nice, but i had to take off work to allot for this time frame). Then, after they arrived, i didn’t realize they wouldn’t be doing the work right then, that they were just assessing and getting a quote. I wish that it had been communicated that the visit was just a consultation. I do like their texting capabilities. But i was frustrated with my recent visit.
Dispatched for annual AC tuneup. At arrival system is operating. During the tuneup, I checked compressor, fan and capacitor. Also, during the inspection we checked pressures, static pressure, and temperature split. All components of the AC are all operating with manufacturer specs. Thank you for allowing us in your house to provide the perfect home service and for being a member of the perfect family service club from your LBA Service tech Calvin. If I provided a positive or five star experience. I’d appreciate you sharing your thoughts in a review.
Proposed solutions for high static issue in the home and also replacement options just due to age
Went for an AC inspection today. Changed the filter. Static pressure failed on the system, definitely a restriction due to airflow. Temperature split between the supply and return ducts passed. Evaporator coil is clean and rust free. Blower motor amperage passed. Outdoor unit got washed. Compressor and fan motor amperage passed. Capacitor passed as well. AC is up and running upon completion. Thank you for choosing LBA services!
Decline on any flex duct repairs or hard piping the system , decline on IAQ as well
Customer requested quote on duct cleaning. Found that system is primarily flex duct. Assessed duct system and notified customer of deficiencies seen in attic. Field supervisor provided quotes on repairs.
5-1-25 Spoke to Bob on site he showed me the ac unit that it is not working It’s in the operations building, thermostats located in Chris Rooney’s office This is a package unit heat pump unit HP-1 Well, I got access to the compressor found the compressor terminal lug blown off, and the terminals were fried. Being in a heat pump system, I do not recommend replacing just a compressor too much possible damage to the reversing valve and the components Allied Air Model 7MHP10B24A-2A Serial 1609E06147 Elec heat 7.2 kw 240v 1ph I sent the information to Rick so we can hold our replacing the unit
4/30/25 - Completed a full cooling maintenance on three RTU’s. The filters were changed, the coils were cleaned, and proper operation was tested. Overall, the units were all in good condition, they were all running well, and there were no issues found at this time.
4-29-25 Sanctuary is not cooling well Spoke to the pastor upon arrival He showed me where the air handler is is the carrier unit when I got up there I could hear refrigerant flowing through the line and the blower was running. I turned the power power off to the two furnaces however the Freon continue to flow. Got up on the roof and checked the carrier unit found the contact it was stuck in the run. Installed a new contactor 2 pole 24volt Than started the system in ac mode.I found the system was low on refrigerant. One of the service caps was missing and the other three were loose and one did have oil around it. I shut the system down. I have approximately 175, 200 pounds of pressure in the system. I did a leak search at the expansion valves and outside with electronic search. All the piping is pretty much exposed I did not see any oil inside or did not pick up on any leaks. Spoke to the pastor, explained the contacted to him and I need to add refrigerant and approximately $105.00 p
I ran the system threw heating and cooling, tested all function of a 2024 unit. Everything for electrical to temperature all are within range and running as it should be at this time. I did smell a mildew smell in the office area when the system is running. I believe that it’s in the duct work and needs to be cleaned and disinfected for any mold and dust. At this time system is working properly.
Went for a maintenance call today. Static pressure is passing for system. All electrical components are passing for manufacture specifications. Refrigerant charge is passing. Temp split passes for system. System is up and running before leaving.
